The SX4 is Suzuki's compact car offering. Suzuki says SX4 stands for Sport X-over for 4 seasons, in reference to an all-wheel-drive model. For 2013, Suzuki started offering only the all-wheel drive hatchback version. It is fitted with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine, mated to a CVT. The hatchback offers versatility and even looks like a stylish mini-4WD with its black plastic body-cladding. Standard features include air conditioning, power windows, locks and mirrors, remote keyless entry, AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system with four speakers, tilt steering wheel, 16-inch alloy wheels and black roof rails on the hatchback. The higher trim level adds electronic stability control and traction control, auto temperature control, cruise control, leather-wrapped steering wheel with steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, premium audio with six-disc CD changer and nine speakers including subwoofer, silver-colour roof rails and more. Basic safety features include dual front airbags and ABS brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, although non-GCC markets get better safety equipment.
