Consumer Reports Best and Worst Reliable Cars

Independent American consumer products watchdog Consumer Reports offers in-depth vehicle reports for almost every car model sold in the United States. Their finding are respected and cause major shakeups in the automotive industry from time to time.
Their reliability survey, conducted during the whole of last year, and the largest of its kind, reached a milestone this year—they've gathered responses on more than 1 million vehicles from Consumer Reports and ConsumerReports.org subscribers. According to them, these results underpin the most comprehensive reliability data you will find anywhere. Here, we give you a look at their new Predicted Reliability Ratings for new cars, based on this survey, and the models that they expect to be the most and least reliable. Be aware that some of the listed models are not sold in the Middle East, while vehicles with "average" reliability are not listed.
Considering all the flak that we draw from local PR representatives for auto companies due to our hard-hitting reviews, we have decided to not comment openly on the results of this American-based survey. While some of the models listed are obvious conclusions, many of our upscale web users might find the results quite astonishing, and proving what we quietly knew all along.
These 2006 models earned the highest and lowest Predicted Reliability Ratings, based on CR's 2005 reliability survey. Models marked with "(2005)" have been redesigned for 2006. Vehicles marked with an asterisk ( * ) indicate data is based on one model year only. Vehicles marked in red are not sold in the Middle East.
