2005 Tokyo Auto Show

The 2005 Tokyo Auto Show, held from October 22 till November 6, focuses primarily on future automotive technology, showcasing visions of what cars of the future should be like instead of just being a platform for product launches. Everything from large luxury cruisers to tiny city runabouts show up at Tokyo. Among the most notable entries are the latest passenger car concepts by Honda, a Mercedes Benz clean-running crossover, a bunch of Mitsubishi ideas, and the show-stopper Nissan Skyline GT-R prototype. Ford, Chrysler, Mini, Volkswagen, Audi and even Ferrari all make an appearance at the the show, showing off production or near-production models, while the Japanese makers mostly concentrate on compact futuristic vehicles for the home market...
