Dubai Police gets new BMW patrol cars
Yep, Dubai Police has taken delivery of 101 BMW 5-Series cars, half of which will be used as patrol cars. They are a good step up from the Mercedes-Benz C-classes, Toyota Fortuners and Nissan Pathfinders the cops keep trolling around in already.
An example of this car was first shown almost a year ago at some defence show in Abu Dhabi. Take heart in the fact that they are 530i models, so one could still get away with a reasonably fast car. Not that we condone such behaviour.

now my question is, are the dubai cops skillful enough to NOT drive this into the friendly neighborhood ditch while taking a corner??

Are these cars can suffer high temprature in the summer for 5 years?

wow nice dubai police become richer than Abu Dhabi police before Good cars were only used by abu dhabi police while dubai police using cheap cars. Hey Mashiqi chodry i have heard that they also GOT SOME CORVETTE DUBAI POLICE.

yes and they are using them in the civil defence thing (just in the emergency cases). they showed that on tv (news)
and really it reminds me with need for speed most wanted
when your heat becomes 5or higher corvette cars start on chasing you.

10 Corvettes can’t stop a Landcruiser or Patrol, surly, they can sross over a corvette

what is the meaninig of civil defence. these cars are not foe chasing patrol or any another cars. its for shutting down any small fire before it becomes an uncotrolable one.
and even for chasing, why it cant stop landcruiser or patrol?????

because the landcruiser and nissan patrol with shahama and Awafi guys are heavily loaded they can beat a lambo with that so how this corvette can chase them

The 900 tires of Patrol is taller than a corvette. easly to jump over corvette.

I think the Dubai Police should use the Ford Crown Victoria, the Chevrolet Caprice, Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol as patrol cars because they are much better and reliable

not a bad choice ….5 series a still good choice for dubai police..They deserved these new cars …I wonder why they have those Nissan Patfinder’s , and Toyota for Fortuners
