2010 Chevrolet Cruze somewhat unveiled

General Motors has released brief details about their upcoming 2010 Chevrolet Cruze compact car, along with official photos.

Chevy’s “world car” will utilise either a 112 hp 1.6-litre or a 140 hp 1.8-litre 4-cylinder engine. It seems GM is putting a lot of work into this car, given falling SUV sales worldwide (except here of course). The interior is rather upscale for a compact car, as seen in spy shots of the prototype.

The Cruze will make its worldwide debut in October this year.

What do you think?

  3. Like GM said the engines are about average..If this is the interior we can expect from the production road going car then, very nice indeed..

  4. how lame! 112 hp! fine if its a 1.6 but we need all we can get from the engine. atleast abve 120hp. Chevrolet never impressed me anyway besides the lumina models.

  5. nice car but needs more power, like the lumina ss.

  6. They have to do something about the car being sooo short aged, 2008 lumina s started having troubles 1 month after buying it, it’s a disaster.
the power steering box broken many times during 3 months, the gear collapsed after 5 months, and other problems.
Chinese cars are better than this

  7. why do you sell this car in egypt with a 107 hp engine ???

the one in egypt is it Korean made ???

  8. I have a general comment if I may which includes all cars manufactues, not Chevrolets in particular. The horse power is not important at all; that’s childish thinking; one can natuarally go to another brand for more horse power. The most imp. thing is the basic function of the machine which should perform swiftly with nicely integrated functions also how it handles the owner’s needs in various countries with its needs circumstances in mind. In reviewing all the new cars exterior, not specifically GM, they are all functionless, extremely boring leading to depressive moods, dull and monotonous in all forms, enforcing ideas on the consumor and not meating any of his concepts. About the interiour, in short summery, it is not basically designed to be used by normal human drivers or riders and mostly they designing team will not use the cars they already designed; they’re probably using the subway or public transportation and leaving the overwhelmed buyers in a dileama agony. Disasisfaction, I think in the subconsious is almost about 85 percent among the buyers who can’t deliver their opinons to the mighty car companies. In history, when Ford Mustang, was first launched, bearing in mind the customers’ neglected needs, it was a hit. Contrary to that, the very cautious hestitant and frightand Japanese car-makers, (not intentionally) they have a better quality, yet they can be much better. Finally, concerning the Egyptian Market,I don’t think that the car manifacturers realize that the great obstacle for a better car scale is the extreme overpricing and the dealer greediness which should be corrected and supervised by the company. Cars are so much over priced than their actual value and there is a kind of monopoly in that in this paricualr market. Please don’t take this remark on the defensive but just try to make things better. Thank You

  9. very nice car i like it

  10. I like its appearance and I think it will be until year 3000

  11. civic beater… 🙂
