Honda Pilot 2012 unveiled with minor facelift

Honda has unveiled their latest iteration of the slow-selling Pilot. Changes are limited to a facelift and a new transmission.

External changes include a new grille and bumpers, while the slightly-updated interior gets a new stereo. The existing 5-speed automatic has been replaced by a 6-speed unit for better fuel efficiency.

That’s about it for the changes. Expect the American-built crossover SUV to reach showrooms in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and other GCC countries by the end of the year.

Keep track of updates in the Honda Pilot buyer guide.

  8. Hey Mash,
There is heavy confusion. Most of the Honda official sites have stated that they are continuing with the 5-speed for the Pilot and there wont be any 6-speed immediately. The fuel efficiency gains are through some apparent “tweaking” and friction reducing changes under the hood.

  9. What happened to the navigation system? Why isn’t it available here? They sell the pilots with it in the US…
