Nissan Juke Nismo Concept revealed at Tokyo Motor Show

The Nissan Juke has always received attention with mixed emotions, due to its ambiguous styling. And even before the public has learned to cope with the new styling cues, Nismo, Nissan’s tuning division, went ahead and created the Nissan Juke Nismo Concept, which will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show.

As expected, Nissan Juke Nismo Concept will be a distinct vehicle with emphasis on performance and fun-to-drive factor. Powering the Juke Nismo Concept will be the same 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine, only treated by Nismo to deliver more juice. No official performance figures have been revealed yet. Clad in exclusively-designed Nismo body-kit and 19-inch alloy wheels, the Juke Nismo Concept looks sportier while boasting better aerodynamics with modifications such as revised front and rear bumpers, wider fenders and side elements  on the tailgate spoiler. Other features include a redesigned cockpit featuring new steering wheel, pedals, guages, special leather-trimmed bucket seats, shifter-knob and door trims.

As far as reports suggest, Nissan has not confirmed whether the Juke Nismo Concept hints at an upcoming production model. Even if it does progress into production stages, we do not expect this to be slated for release in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and rest of the GCC.
