Volvo V40 2013 adds 5-door brother to C30

The 2013 Volvo V40 is going to be revealed soon at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March, but pictures of the new model have been leaking onto the net in a steady stream for weeks now.

The 3-door Volvo C30 remained a niche player in the hot hatch segment simply because there was never a 5-door volume model to accompany it. Now Volvo is rectifying it with the V40, a cross between a hatchback and a wagon. It will likely be powered by the same engines as the C30, though details have yet to be released.

We’ve already heard from Volvo Middle East that the V40 will come to the UAE and probably other GCC countries as well.
