While all trims will be available with optional heated front and second-row seats, the top-spec models will optionally offer ventilated front seats with powered cushion extension and powered lumbar support as well. There are a multitude of storage compartments including under-seat drawers, under-floor storage boxes, a deep centre-console cubby hole and large door pockets.

Other features in the new Carens include a lane departure warning system, parking assist featuring automatic parallel parking, HID headlamps, adjustable steering weight with 3 presets, heated steering wheel, and a supervision instrument cluster featuring a 4.2-inch TFT LCD screen that displays high-definition graphics.

There is no word on the pricing. Nevertheless, expect the new Kia Carens to hit the showrooms in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and GCC by mid or late next year.

  1. It will arrive in Middle East, mostly with a non-GDI 2.0L, putting out something around 152 hp, no lane departure system, No automatic parallel parking and no heated steering wheel.

How I wish the looks matched the power.

  2. First look and I thought of the Citroen DS5.

  3. Awesome family car
