New Maserati Quattroporte 2013 revealed

Celebrating 50 years of the Quattroporte, Maserati has gone ahead and revealed the new 2013 model before the confirmed Detroit auto show debut. Even though details are still sketchy on the powertrain this gorgeous vehicle will carry, Maserati claims the engines will be more powerful and eco-friendly than ever before. Jointly developed and designed with Ferrari, the engines will be produced at the Ferrari Maranello plant in Italy.

The current iteration of the Quattroporte has been around since 2004 and a new model was long overdue. Fortunately the new Quattroporte’s exterior isn’t a huge departure from the current car though it has lost some of its uniqueness along the way. The interior on the other hand has been refreshed to a more tasteful two tier instrument panel with a touch screen covering most of the centre stack.

Even though it’s being touted as a 2013 model by Maserati, we don’t expect the car to arrive in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC markets any time before 2014.

Keep track of the latest prices and updates in the Maserati buyer guide.

  1. the front fascia specially the headlights is a reminiscent of the last generation CLS…

  2. i really like to the overall appearance.

    that being said:
    – rear looks like the A6
    – steering wheel looks like a kia/ hyundai copy
    – front looks the same (borderline to being boooring) like the maseratis of the past 10 years

  3. uuhhh… still like the older model
