2013 Nissan Sentra
The 2013 Nissan Sentra has officially gone on sale in the UAE. It is not a replacement for the new sub-compact Nissan Sunny, but will slot in alongside it as a larger compact sedan offering, replacing the older Nissan Sunny and possibly he Tiida sedan.

The Sentra gets two 4-cylinder engine options. One is a 1.6-litre, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic. It produces 113 hp and 154 Nm of torque. The 1.8-litre engine, which only available with a CVT automatic, produces 130 hp and 174 Nm of torque.

Some standard features of the Sentra include power steering, power mirrors, power windows, halogen headlamps, rear LED lamps, keyless entry, manual seats, AM/FM radio with CD/MP3/AUX/RDS support and 2 speakers and 15-inch steel wheels. Higher SV and SL models get LED accent headlamps, intelligent key with engine push-start button, wood trim, 4-6 speakers, fog lamps, leather steering, rear spoiler, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and indicators on side-view mirror. There is also an option of USB/iPod connectivity, Bluetooth, navigation, 5.8-inch display, rear view camera and 2 DIN face audio system with CD player. The 1.8 SL Premium is the top of the line and gets more features such as leather seats, sunroof, cruise control, dual-zone climate control A/C.

Safety features include electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), ABS and Brake Assist (BA), along with driver and passenger front airbags. Only the 1.8 SL Premium gets side and curtain airbags.

Nissan Sentra prices for the basic 1.6-litre version starts from Dhs 57,500, topping out at Dhs 81,000 for the fully-optioned 1.8-litre model.

It should hit showrooms in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and other GCC markets soon, if not already.

Keep track of all the prices and updates in the Nissan Sentra buyer guide.

  1. 81,000 ?? full option…not worth it…

should max out at 70,000 in this region…

  2. Hi, any idea on the release date of 2013 Ford Fusion in UAE ?

  3. It’s a great car to start @57.5K for a manual transmission with even the cvt for 1.6 sounds good. Can eat up a good share of this most desired segment of UAE!

  4. Very good Nissan brought this model here. The market needed some alternative for toyota corolla. Without any competition afm will sell you a basic car for a high price. Now, nisssan lifts up the challange expecially because it puts more airbags and features such as rear camera which you dont find in corolla.

  5. at 81000 it has good features. Should be a Civic killer…and also..it looks like altima and maxima from far away :P..

  6. Civic has long been killed…were you born yesterday?

  7. if its 81 K then better to go for a civic 2013…or many other options available. But Mid range looks ok..lets see how it fares in ME

  8. it is stylish and interior also look not bad , but price very high when u compared to corolla which is avilable sport model 1.8 for 65k . dont know sentra 1.6 worth or not

  9. Go for Chevrolet Cruze .. Its is best Mid range car in UAE .. Fuel Efficient, Safe and high performace car….

  10. People are looking for cheaper car if it is like 70 k to 75k sound good
