The fifth edition of the Emirates Classic Car Festival kicked off on the 7th of March with the largest showcase of classic cars and motorbikes to date. Featuring a line-up of more than 200 classic cars and motorbikes, the event is running on the Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai, somewhere near Dubai Mall, until March 9, 2013.

Some of the highlights of the fifth edition include Bentleys from the 1920s, which participated in the Blue Train Race between London and Nice, and a 1980 Delorean DMC-12, similar to the from the Back to the Future movies.

Visitors can vote for their favourite cars and motorbikes for ‘The Best of Show: The Public Choice’ award. Voting booths are placed across the Boulevard.

Organised by Emaar Properties PJSC, the UAE Ministry of Culture, Youth & Community Development, and the Automobile Touring Club of the United Arab Emirates (ATCUAE), the Emirates Classic Car Festival is held in Downtown Dubai annually.
