2014 Porsche Panamera goes on sale in UAE

Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid 1
The 2014 Porsche Panamera has gone on sale in the UAE. It gets minor changes to the front and rear bumpers. But the main differences include new engine choices and new variants added to the Panamera lineup.

If it wasn’t confusing enough, there is now 10 different variants to choose from. The new models include the Panamera Diesel, Panamera S E-Hybrid, Panamera 4S Executive and Panamera Turbo Executive. The Panamera Diesel gets a turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine producing 250 hp and 550 Nm of torque. The Panamera S E-Hybrid gets a supercharged 3.0-litre V6 engine, combined with an electric motor which produces an impressive 416 hp and 590 Nm of torque. The Panamera S and 4S have ditched the 4.8-litre V8 and has been replaced by a more fuel efficient but faster twin turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine which produces 420 hp and 520 Nm of torque. The base Panamera and the GTS get 10 hp gains, whereas the Turbo gets a 20 hp gain over the pre-facelifted model.

The Panamera ‘Executive’ models have a 15 cm longer wheelbase, for the sole purpose of offering more legroom for passengers in the back seats. The Panamera Turbo S is expected to release next year.

The prices have gone up as well for the new models. For a breakdown of prices, please visit the Porsche Panamera buyer guide.

  1. Ok, why the diesel over here ???

  2. Fugly!
I’ll take the M6 Gran Coupe

  3. again, not because i am german, but what i really really value about porsche is that when they do a facelift it is alaways mild and doesnt change the appearance significantly. that speaks for their long lasting designs and confidence in their cars. these shortened faclift cycles of others like ford, chev, etc. is rediculous.

besides, this is a fantastic car..

    • Its not about confidence in the cars Marc. Expensive cars dont change radically often because owners will be disappointed to see a completly new model every 2-3yrs of the same car. They spend a lot of money on a car and they want to have a cool/actual shape for a few good yrs. Manufacturers know that and they comply. Eg porsche, range rover, mercedes G klasse, Land Cruiser etc

  4. looks cool still the BMW Grand coupe + Mercedes Benz + Audi A7 all look better when it comes to both exterior side and interior side
the back of the Porshe Panemra cannot be seen -__-
    as usuall
