2015 Lotus Exige S automatic officially released

Lotus has officially released the 2015 Exige S with an automatic transmission.

The 6-speed automatic transmission is mated to the 345 hp supercharged 3.5-litre V6 engine. The automatic version is faster than its manual variant as it sprints from 0-100 kph in 3.9 seconds. It hits a top speed of 261 kph, while the Exige S Roadster reaches up to 231 kph.

The Lotus Exige S automatic also enjoys better fuel economy than its manual counterpart, getting a combined fuel economy rating of 9.6 l/100 km.

The automatic option for the Lotus Exige S should make its way to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries soon.
