At the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race, Brabus debuted the 850 6.0 Biturbo S63 Cabrio. With some impressive firepower beneath the hood and with an all-black baleful look to brag, the S63 Cabrio is now the world’s most powerful and the quickest 4-seater convertible.

The S63 Cabrio has adopted an all-black finish for its beefier body and gets 21-inch forged wheels (several wheel options are available). A new front spoiler, some carbon surrounds, a rear carbon diffuser and spoiler and a 15 mm suspension lowering module is also included as a part of the package.

This record breaking car is built in collaboration with Motul and is endowed with a turbocharged 5.9-litre V8 engine, which replaces the 5.5-litre unit. The twin-turbo pattern is retained but the turbos are replaced with Brabus’s own which features bigger compressor units and bespoke exhaust manifolds. The power output stands at 838 hp and the torque figures soar high at 1450 Nm. The torque is limited to 1150 Nm electronically to save the engine’s durability, according to Brabus. A 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system handles all that power via a 7-speed automatic gearbox.

In terms of performance figures, 0-100 kph takes just 3.5 seconds, which is a 0.4 second improvement. The 200 kph mark will come up in just 9.4 seconds. The top speed is limited to 350 kph because of tyre limitations.

Brabus hasn’t announced the sum that you will have to shell out for the 850 6.0 Biturbo S63 Cabrio yet. And if you happen to own a new Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabriolet and fancy 838 hp, you are in luck. Hand it over to Brabus and they will upgrade it for you at a price. A few pieces should make its way to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries.
