So we got a 2017 GMC Sierra Denali

The GMC Sierra 1500 has been around since 2014 in its current form, undergoing a minor facelift in 2016 after criticism that it looked too much like the old one. This here is the Denali version of the current Sierra, and it is aiming to be the most luxurious pickup truck you can buy.

The Denali can generally be identified by its all-chrome mesh grille. The facelift basically made the grille bigger, with more LED lighting all around.

Inside, it has a generous helping of stitched-leatherette padding, more so than any other full-size pickup truck. However, the available tech isn’t as fancy as that found in some of its less-cushy rivals, as evidenced by the non-smart key inserted next to the traditional column shifter.

Otherwise the Sierra Denali is just as spacious and utilitarian as all its pickup brethren, with tons of rear legroom and an abundance of bed space.

It can take corners surprisingly well too, better than any big pickup we’ve locally tested before. More on that in the full review.

  1. complete overkill but a very nice truck.

i also think that last year’s mild face-lift made a big difference in its front appearance

  2. There are No A/C for rear passengers, Right?
