2018 Chery Tiggo 7 launched in UAE by Al Habtoor Motors

Another model is joining the Chery Tiggo 5 crossover in the UAE with the launch of the 2018 Tiggo 7 by Al Habtoor Motors.

The all-new Tiggo 7 is the first Chery to have the new corporate face with its wavy grille and boomerang-shaped xenon headlights.

Moving inside, the new Chery features a dual-tone interior with a patch of stitched leatherette across the dashboard and onto the inner door handles, matching the leather seats. The 9-inch capacitive touchscreen includes multimedia features, a/c settings and vehicle settings, while there’s also a 4.8-inch LCD dashboard screen. Other available features include smart keyless entry and start, dual-zone auto a/c and 360-degree camera as well as a panoramic roof.

The Tiggo 7 received a five-star safety rating in the Chinese NCAP crash tests (which in theory is similar to EuroNCAP). Safety features include ABS with EBD, ESP, hill-start, tyre-pressure monitor and 6 airbags.

Engine options include a 121 hp 2.0-litre with a CVT automatic or a 145 hp 1.5-litre turbo with a dual-clutch automatic. However, only the 2.0-litre is being offered for now, in one trim level, at a price of Dhs 66,000. The turbo model is tentatively scheduled for January 2018.

  1. God that steering wheel design is so ugly it kinda remind me of the chevrolet impala, it looks so good all around then when you get to the interior you see that it ugly steering wheel.

  2. same engine on tiggo 5 is used in Iran and The Time Belt Randomly Pops Out at Around 40000KM Randomly on a Couple of Cars I have seen
can not even think that the same engine is used in a heavier model in a Super High Standard Rich and Noble Country Like UAE. Plus 5 star Safety From Chinese Ncap Would Sometimes mean 1.5 Star From EURONCAP . I can Bet Half the Car Goes Flaccid if you Hit It By a Same Size Xterra At 40 MPH
They Should not Even Allow that Chinese Piece of Junk Inside UAE even for Expats.

  3. as far as i knew chery tiggo 5 is the really good car i have been seen.
