Morgan Three Wheeler EV3 retro-modern monstrosity revealed

Morgan’s Three Wheeler is a model well-known for the quirky three-wheeled orientation, classic looks and classic British reliability. They’ve now revealed a new Morgan Three Wheeler EV3 which blends the vintage feel with a slice of the future.

The EV3 Three Wheeler is a child of the partnership between Morgan and Frazer-Nash Energy Systems. The EV is also the first ever Morgan vehicle to use composite panels for its body. It uses a tubular frame chassis underneath the classic body that tapers towards the rear of the vehicle.

Powering the EV3 Three Wheeler is a 34.8 kW electric motor which gets its juice from a 21-kWh battery. This combo endows the EV3 with a range of 193 kilometres. The performance figures of the EV3 will be comparable to that of the petrol model, promises Morgan.

The existing Morgan Three Wheeler is sold in the UAE, although good luck spotting one on the streets of Dubai.
