We’re not quite sure what the purpose of this concept is, but it sure looks great. Shown at the 2008 Paris Auto Show, the car is called GTbyCITROËN, and it will be a playable car in some game called GT5 on some kid’s contraption called PS3. It seems to be a non-working full-size model, as Citroen’s press release is filled with nonsense, but no real mechanical details. Read more… »

In what amounts to the lamest attempt at cost-cutting, Seat has just unveiled a “new” sedan model at the 2008 Paris Auto Show, called the Exeo. It would’ve been interesting, except for the fact that it is just an older-generation Audi A4 sedan with new front and rear designs. The weirdly-named Cee’d is probably Kia’s best car right now. Even weirder is that Kia’s GCC dealers, in all their wisdom, chose to launch the Mohave as quickly as possibly here instead of the Cee’d. The hatchback has been selling elsewhere for a while now, and Kia has now developed a hybrid version, as is all the rage right now. It will be displayed at the 2008 Paris Auto Show. Read more… »

If you keep track of the American car market, you’ll know that the four-door Toyota Prius is a seriously popular car there, since its launch a decade ago. Being a hybrid, it runs on a petrol engine which shuts off to use electric power as much as possible, and it generates this electric power simply from energy released during braking. Now Honda has revived the Insight nameplate for their latest hybrid, and this time, it comes with four doors. Read more… »
