 As supercar sales slow down around the world due to economic issues, Aston Martin went ahead and announced an all-new flagship supercar called the One-77. Though only releasing dark teaser shots of the oddly-named car, simply brightening up the photos digitally reveals a whole lot more.  One of our readers, Mohamad, pointed us to this thread on nissan-arabia.com, showing local photos of the GCC-spec Renault “mystery sedan” that we exposed some time ago. It looks like the new sedan will revive the Renault Safrane nameplate for this Japanese-designed Korean-built French-badged car.  Among the first to scoop this news, we bring you the first official photo of the all-new 2009 Infiniti G37 convertible.  Hot on the heels of renderings for the 2009 Mazda 3 sedan, these photos show early models of the 2009 Mazda 3 hatchback.  Just as Lexus is to Toyota and Infiniti is to Nissan, Japanese carmaker Honda has a luxury brand in the United States called Acura, churning out unique cars since the early 90s. Their latest creation is the incredible 2009 Acura TL, and it is unfortunate that Honda does not intend to bring the Acura brand [...]  The current-generation Toyota RAV-4 has been mildly facelifted for the 2009 model year, as seen in these photos for the American version. Also new is an upgraded 4-cylinder engine.  Early photos of the next-generation 2009 Volkswagen Golf has surfaced on the internet, ahead of its official launch this week. So far, things are not looking good for the gay icon.  The current Mazda 3 is a class-leading car. But while it is winning awards elsewhere for performance and handling, only the most basic versions come here in GCC-spec form, effectively crippling it against the likes of Honda and Toyota. The 911 Targa 4 and the 911 Targa 4S, so named due to their glass tops [...]  Mitsubishi is planning to unveil the 2009 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport at the Moscow Auto Show, of all places. The Pajero Sport is just another name for the pickup-based Mitsubishi Nativa that has been soldiering on unchanged for ages now.  While the overdone SLR McLaren is finally going out of production, Mercedes-Benz is putting out the SL65 AMG Black Edition to take its place for a while. Powered by a twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12, it is one serious performance machine, even if it only comes with an automatic transmission.  The 2009 BMW 3-Series has been facelifted mildly, if you can even figure out what has been changed. These are first photos of the car, and it is set to launch at the Paris Auto Show. It looks like engines will remain the same.  The 2009 Kia Sportage will be the recipient of a minor facelift. It is due to be launched soon, unless it is already in local showrooms and we were not told about it. Incidentally, this new version has already been on sale in China for a while now.  General Motors has announced that they will soon unveil a new compact car called the 2010 Chevrolet Cruze, ready for release by mid-2009. The fact that it will be launched at the 2008 Paris Auto Show in October, and that it will also be available in the United States, hints at a new “world” car [...]  Photos of the all-new 2009 BMW 7-Series have hit the web before its upcoming official launch. The new model looks strikingly better than the outgoing blob, which can truly be called the ugliest sedan in the history of BMW.  The unloved Kia Cerato is on its way to the grave. Not a bad car overall, it just couldn’t compete with the usual Japanese appliances. So much so that Kia has completely redesigned their new compact offering, now calling it the Forte.  While we were not sure whether the new-generation Nissan X-Trail would even make it here, one of our readers, Don, spotted a 2009 model on a flatbed towtruck on the Sheikh Zayed Road.
