 It took long enough, but the 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, quiet possibly the most aggressive offroad truck ever, is on display at the 2009 Dubai Motor Show, and it will be offered in GCC countries sometime next year.  The all-new 2010 Jaguar XJ was publicly displayed at the 2009 Dubai Motor Show for the first time in the UAE, after a press preview earlier in the week. Kepler Motors, founded by American racer Russ Wicks, unveiled its Motion concept supercar at the 2009 Dubai International Motor Show. Parents visiting the Chevrolet stand at the 10th Dubai International Motor Show can learn how to keep their children safe while on the road by choosing the right child car safety seat for their kids and how to correctly install them, from December 16th to the 20th, at stand # 80, Zabeel Hall. Photos by Faisal Khatib.  The all-new 2011 Kia Cadenza, replacement for the ridiculous Opirus, debuted at a press event on the 14th, just before the start of the 2009 Dubai Motor Show. The event was mainly a press conference and a dinner, with a design lesson thrown in.  Fiat is apparently making a return to the GCC market, as evidenced at the 2009 Dubai Motor Show with the display of the Fiat 500. The 2009 Dubai Motor Show is running from the 16th to the 20th of December, featuring lots of glitzy luxury cars and tons of supercars, even though it was supposed to have a ‘green’ theme this year. A few international debuts also took place here, with the Kepler Motion, the Luxgen7 SUV, the Brabus GLK [...]  Taiwanese carmaker Yulong, building cars since the 1950s for their own region, has started their international expansion, starting with the Luxgen line of vehicles in the GCC. Their first product here is the Luxgen7 MPV.  With a top speed of 322.3 kph, German tuner Brabus claims that their new modified Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class crossover has set a new speed record for street-legal SUVs on an Italian high-speed test track in October. That’s because the exclusive special model is powered by a twin-turbo V12 engine. Incidentally, it will also makes its world [...]  The 2009 edition of the Dubai Motor Show will run from the 16th to the 20th of December, at the exhibition halls of the Dubai World Trade Centre. Numerous cars will be displayed for the first time in the UAE, with a handful of world premieres as well.  The all-new Bentley Mulsanne debuted in the UAE at an event held in Dubai. While we likely looked at a pre-production example, it offered us a view of the complete car as well as what goes into making a customised customer car.  The all-new Renault Fluence, a sedan designed especially for developing countries, will make its world premiere at the upcoming 2009 Dubai Motor Show which takes place from December 16 to 20, 2009. |
