 The 2010 Infiniti G37 convertible debuted in the UAE, at a launch event in Dubai. The new all-new model features a folding hard-top, and is the first convertible to join the Infiniti range in the GCC.  Taking a cue from Ford’s desperate “special-edition” Mustang models, the General has just revealed yet another variant of the Corvette. This time, it is the “limited-edition” Z06 Carbon. More than just a sticker package, the Carbon is a Z06 that benefits from some of the tech that debuted in the exotic Corvette ZR1.  To keep things fresh ,Toyota has unveiled a facelifted version of their RAV-4 crossover 4×4 at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show.  The Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG has been modified both inside and outside by tuner company MANSORY. The G55 AMG, popular among in this region, has gone for a complete carbon-fibre makeover. Only seven will be available. It is called the MANSORY G-Couture.  The Porsche 918 Spyder is not only going to be super fast, but also super fuel-efficient as it will be a hybrid. Calling it the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500, power has been beefed up significantly creating one quick off-road beast.  The CLR X 650 M is LUMMA Design’s latest creation. Sporting an upgraded engine and some aggressive styling, this modified beamer looks simply awesome.  Audi has just revealed the 2011 Audi RS5 model. The coupe, based on the Audi A5, packs a powerful V8 4.2-litre engine with an all-wheel drive system.  The 2011 Lexus CT 200H, was made keeping the European market in mind, hence the five-door hatchback design. This is a hybrid model and is going to compete in the premium compact segment. Lexus wants to target younger customers for this model.  Details of the 2011 Peugeot 508, which will be the replacement for the 407 and 607 models, have been revealed. Featuring a big grill and rounded curves all over, it looks pretty good in these initial pictures. The engine details have only been released for the hybrid model.  The 2011 Porsche Cayenne has been revealed. Always popular in this region, the new Porsche Cayenne is certain to turn heads. Power and fuel efficiency has improved in all the models.  Volkswagen has revealed the Volkswagen CrossPolo 2010 for the compact class market. Originally designed to be a special edition model for the Polo Fun, the CrossPolo is now being released as a full production model.  Mercedes-Benz recently showed off its new F800 at the Geneva Auto Show. The bold, futuristically designed Mercedes-Benz F800 is said to be the next CLS.  The Volkswagen Polo GTI 2011 has debuted which will feature the 1.4-litre TSI engine. It produces 178 hp and 249 Nm of torque.  Bad news hit several automakers over the past few days, not least of which is Toyota’s continued pounding due to recalls. Hyundai and Suzuki have also joined the recall craze, while Hummer suffers from bad news of a different kind.  This here is the facelifted 2011 Nissan Pathfinder for the European market. European Pathfinders are built in Spain and come with diesel engines. What this means for GCC-spec Pathfinders is unknown, as UAE-bound models are built in America.  German tuners VATH Automobiltechnik has released a V50S package for the E-500 engine which turns up the horsepower from 388 hp to 435 hp. Visual upgrades are available as well on the Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe.  AC Schnitzer has decided to tune up the BMW X1 with some added power and visual upgrades. They have just released the upgrade only on the diesel engine at the moment, but will be released soon for the petrol version as well.  The new Bentley Continental Superports Convertible 2011 has been revealed. It claims to be the fastest four-seat convertible in the world. Having the same ‘W12′ 6-litre engine, it produces 621 hp and 800 Nm of torque.
