A niche manufacturer claims to have created the world’s fastest street bike. Calling it the “Asphaltfighters STORMBRINGER powered by WARM UP,” it will have its world debut at the 2009 Essen Motor Show.

 Honda has unveiled their all-new 2010 VFR 1200F motorcycle. Underneath the extensive bodywork is a vacuum-molded cast aluminium chassis and a 1,237 cc V4 engine that is good for 172 hp at 10000 rpm and 129 Nm of torque at a screaming 8750 rpm. That is just insane for a two-wheeler.  Proclaimed as the only major American motorcycle maker, Harley-Davidson has just unveiled their 2010 product line-up, with nine new motorcycle models in what they refer to as “the most expansive new-product introduction in the history of the company,” spread across six model platforms.  BMW has finally released full details on their S 1000 RR superbike. The amazing bit is that it boasts world-beating performance among litre bikes, and yet, BMW claims they will price it competitively alongside the usual Japanese makes rather than the premium overpriced European nameplates. |
