 The all-new 2010 Hyundai Tucson went on sale in the UAE recently, after a press launch in Oman to which we were not invited. The secretive new crossover is available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah showrooms with two engines, a whole host of comfort options, and typical Korean safety features. AGMC, the exclusive importer of BMW vehicles in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates has announced the opening of a new BMW showroom in Sharjah that will be dedicated to BMW Premium Selection vehicles, the company’s certified pre-owned car programme. The 2010 Honda CR-V is now on sale in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and throughout the UAE. The CR-V has been facelifted for 2010, but there are no changes under the bonnet. General Motors Middle East is heavily promoting the 2009 Chevrolet Aveo5 hatchback as a hip new car for young people. As part of a major advertising campaign (which we’ve been left out of), the Aveo5 is being touted as base for customisations with various dealer-installed modifications, all under warranty. |
