There could be a couple of reasons why we haven't driven this particular car. Usually the car company does not have one in stock for us to drive, or they do not have one to give long enough for us to evaluate properly, or they are just hiding how bad their car is so they refuse to give us a car.
It is surprising how many other publications give up their integrity to make a car look perfect, whether it is a slow subcompact, a tipsy 4WD or a cramped sports car, in the hope that car companies will dump more money into advertising in their publications. So it should come as no surprise that our critical reviews upset some of these car companies who are used to misleading the public with fancy ad campaigns and biased reviews, while peddling cars that are not up to the mark on close scrutiny.
And a big Thank You to those companies who actually had the guts to lend us their cars for our non-biased reviews. Some have backed off after some of our criticism, but many keep coming back for more.
