The Nissan Altima receive a minor facelift for the 2010 model year, including a restyled front end, new wheel designs, and new interior options. The Altima will be available with a choice of a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder or a 3.5-litre V6 in both the sedan and the coupe. All versions will get the CVT automatic as standard, although the 4-cylinder coupe will have a 6-speed manual optionally available. All GCC-spec Altima models come with a beige interior, in cloth or optional leather, but red upholstery is optionally available for the coupe. The entertainment system has been upgraded with a new Bose premium stereo with nine speakers, 4.3-inch colour display, USB port with iPod connectivity, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, MP3/WMA CD playback, and rear monitor. Also offered is an optional hard-drive navigation system with 6.5-inch VGA colour display, 9.3GB Music Box for music storage and playback, Bluetooth Streaming Audio, DVD player and an RCA input for auxiliary audio/video connectivity. All Altima models now come with stability control, front and side airbags, and ABS, with options such as side-curtain airbags and a tyre-pressure monitor.
