The Nissan Murano is a crossover SUV, designed pretty much exclusively for on-road cruising rather than off-road excursions. The Murano is available in three trim levels, all featuring a 3.5-litre V6 engine mated to Nissan's Xtronic CVT transmission with adaptive shift control, as well as all-wheel-drive. Standard features for the Murano include 18-inch alloy wheels, six airbags, ABS, stability control and front seat active head restraints. Additional features include bi-xenon headlights, LED tail lamps, cruise control and an in-dash six-disc CD player with AUX socket for MP3 players. Also available are an intelligent Key with memory for the powered front seats and steering wheel, as well as a Bose audio system with 11 speakers, including a pair of Richbass woofers mounted in the spare-wheel well. The Murano’s new interior is makes abundant use of soft-touch materials and upholstery trimmed in cloth or leather and aluminium detailing. Depending on trim level, the Murano can also be had with ambient mood lighting, auto climate-control, split 60/40 rear seats with powered raising function, power-operated tailgate, parking cameras for the front and rear, twin ‘top loader’ sunroof, navigation system, Bluetooth, and a DVD entertainment system.
