The Lexus IS debuted as an all-new sedan in 2007, limited to a single engine choice for the GCC, although other markets get better engines. Saddled with a GCC-specific 3.0-litre V6 engine, the IS 300 offers the most sporting ride of the Lexus range. The rear-wheel drive IS 300 comes with an impressive set of standard features that includes a premium sound system with CD auto-changer MP3 and WMA compatibility along with 13 speakers, power windows and front seats, keyless entry and start, cruise control, HID headlamps with auto-leveling system, and a fabric interior. The numerous options include a Mark Levinson premium surround sound system with DVD and 14 speakers, moonroof; ventilated front seats, navigation system, power rear window sunshade, auto wiper system, adaptive front-lighting system, rear view monitor system and park assist system.
