The Brilliance FSV, also known as the BS2 elsewhere, is a Chinese compact sedan that's built on technology partnerships from companies such as BMW and Toyota, with a Mitsubishi-design powertrain. Even the simplistic platform with independent-front torsion beam-rear suspension is said to be Lotus-tuned, while Italdesign Giugiaro had a hand in the styling. Available with a single 1.5-litre 4-cylinder "MIVEC" engine mated to a 4-speed automatic, the front-wheel-drive 5-seater is fairly class-competitive.
