The Land Rover Discovery Sport replaced the LR2 from early 2015. Available in 5-seater and 7-seater forms, it gets a 4-cylinder 2.0-litre turbocharged engine combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission. It retains its off-road capabilities, as it comes equipped with permanent intelligent all-wheel drive, utilising an electronically-controlled centre differential to vary the torque split between the front and rear axles as needed. The LR2 also features Terrain Response and the Roll Stability Control system. Standard equipment includes a 8-inch colour touchscreen in the center console and a 5-inch display in the instrument cluster, while options include cloth or leather seats, power front seats, dual-panel sunroof, keyless starter button, HID headlights with front and rear fog lights, rear park distance control, rear camera, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
