BMW Concept 4 hints at big-nostril next-gen M4

BMW is toying around with the idea of fitting extreme grilles to its new cars in a bid to make their cars look more distinctive and somehow more premium, starting with the large kidney grille on the X7 and 7-series. For those who did not like it, there’s more bad news. The BMW Concept 4 gets unveiled at the 2019 Frankfurt Motors show which hints at the design of the next gen 4-Series and M4 coupes. And guess what, it’s got a large grille too.

There has been a lot of speculation, and negativity, on what the upcoming 2020 Land Rover Defender will look like, especially as there is no way the Defender can continue its classic looks in a modern safety-conscious world. Ever since the Maybach brand was phased out in 2013, Bentley and Rolls-Royce have had no worthy adversary from the house of Benz. Though the recently-revived Mercedes-Maybach brand came up with ultra-posh versions of the normal Mercedes-Benz models, they are just not as prestigious as the Rolls-Royce luxury barges. Now though, it seems that Maybach is attempting to take on the SUV models from the British stalwarts.
