Bugatti Galibier sedan concept debuts

Bugatti Galibier
After months of teasing the retarded press with a shadowy photo, Bugatti has finally revealed its new four-door sedan concept ahead of the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show at an event for Bugatti customers. Originally dubbed the Bordeaux, the super-sedan’s real name is Galibier, named after a difficult Alpine pass along the Tour de France route.

Obvious features include a two-tone body, comprising of polished aluminum for the doors and front-end, and a dark-blue carbon fibre weave that shines through when illuminated. A prominent ‘spine’ along the middle of the car recalls past Bugatti models like the Type 35 and the Type 57. However, the insect-butt styling of the Veyron, which wasn’t attractive in the first place, does not translate very well to the Galibier sedan.

Powering the Bugatti Galibier concept is a version of Bugatti’s 8.0-litre W16 turbo engine. Top speed is expected to be around 350 kph.

  1. umm, veyron is better designed. of all supercars sedans, i like estoque frm lambo but still the original 2-door are better any day.

  2. Damn that’s ugly!!!

  3. Man it looks like a 7 series with a Hartge kit and Jaguar XF front lights.

  4. ouch..my eyes hurt!

  5. r buggati serious? o my god…this is damn ugly! wonder wat they were thinking? bet it costs upwards of 2 Million Euros?

  6. who would be cruising around at 300kmph in a family sedan??? if that big shot person wana fly on roads then he would prefer to buy a veyron, not this…..i mean wats the use of putting so much unnecessary horses in a family car? whch are never used…?

  7. UUggliesttt Interior

  8. i expect it would cost a fortune;thats da problem

  9. The outside its a bit controversial yet with a couple of tweaks & it will look gorgeous. The rear is badly designed.. but that interior makes every other luxury car in the market look like SHIT..

Neither Bentley, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Maserati & porsche ,to name a few, have managed to come up with a such a luxurious & sexy looking Interior like that… This is how luxury cars from the inside should look like…

Its a shame that many luxury cars like the Maserati Quatorporte, all of the Aston Martins & the Bentley Continental GT have interiors that got wonderful & exotic materials with amazing craftsmanship yet fail interms of proper design. Some bits look cheap & plasticy & u see that the dashboard is nothing more than a beefed up copycat of that found in a cheaper cars. Plus this is the simplest interior ive ever seen in ages, how nice is that no buttons/knobs.. This is how exotic cars must be..

  10. THESE CAR HAS A NEW STYLE STATEMENT THAT NO ONE HAS TO BE COMMENTED AS IT NOT LIKE AS SAME I DO ACCEPT THAT IT HAS SOME LOOKS OF OTHER COMPANIES BUT ITS AT ALL A MASTER PIECE WITH A MUSCULAR HEAVY ROAD GRIP DEFINITION I REALLY LIKE DESIGNER WHO BROUGHT THIS INTO REALITY WELL DONE GUYS KEEP DESIGNING YOUR DREAM CARS FOR CONSUMERS

  11. I STRONGLY BELIEVE WHAT AZHAR HAS COMMENTED BUT HE HAS TO ACCEPT THE FACT OF SIMILARITIES WHICH LINES UP THE CAR DESIGN BUT CAR DESIGNER HAS TO INVENT SOME NEW DESIGNS FROM THE PREVIOUS ONES

  12. WTF?!?!??!?!

The back is like a hatchback similar to the Porsche Panarama.

cheat copycats with a VW engine.

  13. The rear is ugly i wont say no.. but everything else i like…

  14. reminds me of those 50s or 60s anf all this industry revolution….. i would love to see this Galibier on the road..realy uniqe..

  15. I think the industrial revolution was much earlier than that era but i understand what u say… back in the days cars were more luxurious and geniune than today’s stupid plasticy, electronic, overpriced rubbish they sell us nowadays.. This car feels like it revives how a quality car should be… Were really tired of excessive cheap plastic in our cars… I mean it brings the phantom and the aston martin to shame when it comes to interiors..

  16. I think i am gona buy this car is beautiful

  17. How about buying a country instead?

  18. Or feed a billion orphans.

  19. I would bye it just for the engine though !!!!!!!!!!!
