Cadillac SLS 2010 Chinese version updated

2010 Cadillac SLS
Shanghai GM has unveiled the new 2010 Cadillac SLS for the Chinese market at the 2009 Guangzhou Auto Show. More importantly, the Chinese-built SLS is a part of Cadillac’s GCC line-up.

The exterior has been slightly redesigned with a new grille, headlights and tail lights, fog lights and side skirts.

For the Chinese market, the 2010 Cadillac SLS will come with either a 272 hp 3.0-litre direct-injection V6 with 300 Nm of torque, or a 310 hp 3.6-liter direct-injection V6 with 374 Nm of torque.

The SLS will be one of the first vehicles in China to feature GM’s OnStar telematics service, although this option will not be available in the UAE. The service goes live in China next month and works by providing information to the driver as well as streaming data from the vehicle to monitor its workings.

Other features include an electromagnetic active suspension system, and air quality control, the latter automatically recirculating cabin air if too many pollutants are detected in the air coming from outside.
