Debuting at the 2009 Dubai Motor Show, the Nissan Altima sedan and coupe models receive a few changes for 2010, including a restyled bonnet, grille, front bumper and rear license plate finisher, along with new wheel designs.

The 2010 Nissan Altima will be available with a 179 hp 2.5-litre 4-cylinder and a 270 hp 3.5-litre V6 in both the sedan and coupe. All versions will get the CVT automatic as standard, although the 4-cylinder coupe will have a 6-speed manual optionally available.

All GCC-spec Altima models seemingly get a beige interior, whether cloth or optional leather, but a red upholstery option is available for the coupe. Gauge illumination has also been changed to white.

The entertainment system for the Altima’s interior has been upgraded for 2010 thanks to a newly-available Bose premium stereo with nine speakers, 4.3-inch colour display, USB port with iPod connectivity, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, MP3/WMA CD-ROM playback, and RearView Monitor.

Also offered is an optional hard-drive navigation system with 6.5-inch VGA colour display, 9.3GB Music Box for music storage and playback, Bluetooth Streaming Audio, DVD player and an RCA input for auxiliary audio/video connectivity.

All Altima models now come with stability control, front and side airbags, and ABS, with options such as side-curtain airbags and a tyre-pressure monitor.

Keep track of updated prices and specs in the Nissan Altima buyer guide.

  1. if the Altima would’ve been RWD… pffft! true perfection…

  2. the old one’s front looked better IMO. still looks good though.

  3. looka better than the current……still Maxima anytime better than altima 3.5

  4. Really cool. Better than the current model.

  5. I luv Maxima, any day better than Atima…ofcourse now Maxima is positioned above Altima…

  6. lot more bang for the buck compared to the Accord or the Mazda 6!!

  7. looks very nice…

  8. Looks nicer and more aggresive… but if the altima is RWD like the previous generation.. Then the lumina would be resting in peace..

  9. i like the new front as well..looks better..

  10. isnt the 4 cylinder model with 175 Hp…
or its increased by 4 hp???

  11. Altima is safest car with side and curtain air bags. Accord with 6 air bags comes closer to BMW price. Camry does not know about safety and dot not come at all with 6 air bags. In India and US all Accord and Camry models come with 6 air bags. Probably Al Futtaim wants to make more bucks for less safety to the people who buy them.

  12. any idea when the Honda Accord 2010 will debut in UAE ?

  13. well it won’t make a difference. Nothing’s changing for 2010 in the accord as far as i know.

  14. If it was a real-wheel drive, it would be double(or more) the price and it wouldn’t be ‘perfection’ anymore then, would it? That’s why there is the Infiniti G37.

  15. ^ Well were actually kind of missing an entry model RWD car in the market… And so far lumina is the leader… If a japanese carmaker makes a move then id consider that a revolution! Now Hyundai came with the genesis but i dont see it struck the head of any other car makers…

  16. lol! the Genesis was like a total failure! My first sighting of the Genesis Sedan on the road was just last month!

  17. ^ Genesis Coupe… Is a hit in the US…

  18. yea it is doing really well there and also, its the higher spec V6 models that make up the majority of the sales.
and for the record, I was referring to UAE sales and only the Sedan version in my last comment. 🙂

  19. Guys any idea when 2010 Altima will be lanuched in Abu Dhabi? Coz i came to know from a dealer it wont come until the previous model’s stock doesnt clear up.

  20. i think if they make some sports models like toyota..they will finish whats left very soon hehehe

  21. well Altima 2010 is worth the money you pay..!! unlike the other competitors.. cheers..
