Luxgen finalises first GCC dealer in Oman

Following its international debut in the 10th Dubai International Motor show, Taiwan’s first automotive brand LUXGEN has signed its first international distributorship agreement with Oman’s Mohsin Haider Darwish LLC to become the exclusive agency of LUXGEN in Oman.

Two models from Luxgen, the LUXGEN7 MPV and the LUXGEN7 SUV, are scheduled to launch in the winter of 2010 in Oman. The LUXGEN7 MPV, being the first model released by LUXGEN, has achieved local success in Taiwan by out-selling the entire Hyundai brand just by itself.

The Omani dealer, which also handles Land Rover, Jaguar and Volvo already, is the first to finalise among other interested dealers around the region, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain.
