Honda launches VT1300CX & VFR1200F bikes in UAE
Alongside the stunningly popular Honda Accord Crosstour, Honda also revealed a pair of motorcycles at a UAE press event in Dubai. One would be the VT1300CX and the other is the VFR1200F. Both are niche products for Honda, considering they are better known for their superbikes.
The VT1300CX chopper-style cruiser has a 57 hp “liquid-cooled SOHC 52°” V-twin engine with 107 Nm of torque. It comes with a PGM-FI fuel system with automatic enricher circuit and a 12.8-litre fuel tank. Honda claims a fuel consumption figure of 4.9 litres/100 km for the 303-kilo bike. The bike can be had with a standard 5-speed gearbox, ABS brakes and a choice of black and blue paintjobs. Options include extra chrome trim, back rests and front spoilers.
The VFR1200F long-distance sport bike has a 170 hp “liquid-cooled 4-stroke UNICAM 76°” V-4 engine with 129 Nm of torque. It comes with PGM-FI electronic fuel injection and an 18.5-litre fuel tank. It burns 6.8 litres/100 km, while weighing in at 267 kg. The bike has a 6-speed gearbox, C-ABS brakes and a choice of paintjobs in red, silver and white. Options include Alcantara seating, 29-litre pannier kit, 7-litre tank bags and all sorts of other bags and boxes.
The bikes will be available in Honda motorcycle showrooms across the GCC.
