Suzuki Kizashi 2011 launched in the UAE

Al Rostamani Trading Company, the sole distributor of Suzuki in the UAE has quietly launched their sporty midsize sedan, the new Kizashi, as a 2012 model in its showrooms. The much-hyped Suzuki Kizashi had been launched in Oman almost a year back and 6 months ago in Saudi Arabia.

The Kizashi, is powered by a 176 hp 2.4-litre unit with 230 Nm of torque, attached to a CVT transmission that can be controlled via steering-mounted paddle shifters.

There is only one model on sale, currently called the Kizashi Sport, that the dealer claims to be fully loaded. Performance features include an all-wheel-drive system, sports-tuned suspension, lower ride height, ABS brakes with electronic brake distribution, an “intelligent” electronic stability control with traction control.

The exterior is fitted with alloy wheels, HID headlights, fog lamps and additional chrome fittings. Interior includes leather power seats, sunroof, remote keyless entry, power windows, door locks and mirrors, cruise control, trip computer, automatic climate control and a premium sound system CD stereo system.

The car is priced at a premium rate of Dhs 103,000, and is available with only 3 colours at the moment. Cheaper models aren’t expected in the immediate future, so the Kizashi will definitely remain a rare sight.

Keep track of GCC updates in the Suzuki buyer guide.

  1. wrong strategy suzuki, they should have released at least 3 variants rather than 1 and selling this at premium which features all options.last time toyota uae released a “sports” model in all their models and it was bare basic model . Better check out mazda 9 ultra or altima..

  2. This is a very interesting piece of design and looks very good:) nice competition for those US-built Altimas and Accords, which are just a trifle more in terms of power:)

2 things though! One if they could have named it anything other than that it is and second, just a little more detail to the interior and it could have been great hit among the youth, like the Swift has been:) but still, i like it alot:)

  3. should’ve given it a 3.5 and the 4wd system……… it would’ve sold by the million 🙂

  4. the name of this car reminds of Kakashe from naruto.. lol.. if u know what I mean 😉

  5. the rear looks nice, but the front end reminds me with dodge avenger … somehow

  6. They should have had the base version atleast it could compete with Subaru. Now its like a an expensive saloon that no would come to know about .There was an interesting car around 5 years ago here in UAE ,it was a small saloon with a body kit and a 2.3 engine. It was called a celerio ,i think.Even that didnt sell as know one knew about it.

  7. looks kinda altima from rear.
