As if the Lamborghini Aventador and Ferrari FF cop cars weren’t enough, Dubai Police has gone ahead and added an Aston Martin One-77 to their fleet. Also seen in full police livery are a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG as well as a Bentley Continental GT.

Judging by earlier leaked photos, the Aston Martin One-77 was originally dark grey before it got completely wrapped in white and green. Only 77 of these cars were ever made, with at least 7 of them reportedly landing up in the UAE, each priced at around Dhs 6 million.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and the Bentley Continental GT were already white before the green stickers were added.

Interestingly, each of the supercars seem to have different decal designs.

It was only last month that the Lamborghini and Ferrari police cars were casually unveiled, so it remains to be seen if the Aston Martin ends the line of supercars or there’s more to come.

  1. Calm down UAE..

Did they made a 5 year old the head of police.

  2. I still think they’ve hitched a ride with Al Ain Motors on this. I bet these are just loaners…

    • The One-77 used to belong to someone prominent in this country. See the number plate for a hint. I had seen it before in its original grey color 🙂

  3. Seriously a One-77 now thats really too much. Could have gone for a standard Aston Martin Virage and saved a cool 5 mill.

  4. I smell a 2nd recession!:-)

  5. FYI dubai police didnt pay for the cars they were given to them, before anyone starts going into recession and money make sure with your stories.

  6. Anyone heard about a Veyron coming as well ?

  7. Yeah if the cars are given to them then it must be the RTA as the money is from the new salik gates at Sharjah and Mamzar.

  8. I don’t know why people are so concerned about the money etc aspect of this, I believe this is awesome. Free Global PR, excitement for tourists and residents alike plus another way of getting more young people to join the force. Imagine being the policeman/woman who gets to drive one of these, you’d be ecstatic! As for PR, just came back from abroad, rumors are spreading like wildfire and even heard people saying that the entire Dubai Police Fleet has been upgraded to Lamborghinis haha… No amount of money could pay for such marketing to attract tourists. Well done Dubai Police!

  9. All supercars bought for special reason. And I beleive it is for support of Dubai’s bid for World Expo 2020. It works very simple, Dubai wants to be in the news all over the world as a safest city with police super cars. And if Dubai will win the bid, they will gain more investment. It is pure investment, not show off at all!

  10. Everything is marketing today, even the police is not immune. Nice cars though.
