About a month ago, a conceptual drawing of the facelifted 2016 Lexus LX 570 was leaked from unknown sources. Now, it seems those drawings were accurate, as the real deal was apparently snapped at Jebel Ali port in Dubai.

It’s unclear where the original photos as various social-media users are taking undue credit for the images, but the restyled D-pillar clearly shows that it’s the latest iteration of the LX570 that debuted in 2008 in its current form.

While the interior design also appears to be new, it is unlikely there are any major mechanical changes for 5.7-litre V8-powered three-row 4×4. It should debut in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries by winter this year.

Keep track of UAE prices and GCC updates in the Lexus buyer guide.

  2. It used to be my dream SUV , now its the worst SUV I’ve every seen .

  3. Looks like GX460 !

  4. very bad job

  5. All is good except for the steering wheel

  6. doesn’t matter people will still buy….

  7. By cloning the Patrol D pillar Lexus seems to have blurred the apparent gap between the Patrol/land cruiser class and the Lexus premium SUV segment. Not a good idea IMO.

With the proposed BMW X7 and AUDI Q9 it would be interesting to see this segment progress.

Lack of virtual central display, fugly central AC vents and the horrible Lexus media controller seems to me like the last hurrah of this dinosaur!

  8. toyota should learn from the Korean when it comes to the design.

  9. Shit car and will always be shit and overpriced
