2018 Citroen C3 Aircross revealed

Citroen reveals the C3 Aircross as the funky sibling of the bigger C5 Aircross. The new C3 Aircross sports the C5’s same design language which makes it look more like a crossover than an MPV.

The split headlamps, front and rear skid plates, wing extenders and unique alloy wheels spice up the funky exterior. About 90 exterior combinations, including four roof colours and four colour packs along with five interior designs, give the customer plenty of options.

The cabin follows a horizontal design theme with the infotainment screen placed in the middle of the center console. The center console is also home to a wireless charging console. The other features include a heads-up-display, Active Safety Brake Function, automatic high-beam lights, speed sign recognition, Park Assist and Citroen Connect Nav. The trunk offers 489 litres of storage which can be expanded to 1289 litres when the 60:40 split rear seats are folded down. A height-adjustable boot floor also improves practicality.

Citroen has been selling the C3 Aircross in the Latin American market for a while now and now they have revamped the engine lineup to integrate it into their global lineup. It will be offered with a trio of PureTech petrol engines that develop 108 hp to 128 hp in different states of tune. Three BlueHDi diesels accompany these with power outputs ranging from 89 hp to 118 hp. These can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox according to the variant chosen.

Citroen C3 Aircross is offered with FWD with a Grip Control System. This comes with different drive modes that enhance grip on slippery surfaces. The C3 Aircross also has a hill descent mode.

The 2018 Citroen C3 Aircross will go on sale globally by the end of this year closer to which, the prices will be announced.

  1. Juke started this trend of tiny headlights on top and the indicator area resembling like headlight, so many manufacturers now use that technique whether its a sleek or boxy model.

    Looks nice and unique though.

  2. Interior is modern & different. Good try from Citroen. !!!
