2021 Toyota Yaris facelift revealed

In the Philippines, Toyota has revealed the Yaris with a new face. Known as the Vios there, the design update to the front looks quite familiar to the previous generation Toyota Camry which was sold here.

The front fascia of the new Yaris has a larger two-part grille, with the higher models getting LED headlamps, part-LED taillamps and new 16-inch alloy wheel designs. The interior remains the same, with the addition of a larger screen for the infotainment system.

Mechanically it remains unchanged with the Yaris getting two engine options – a 98 hp 1.3-litre motor and a 105 hp 1.5-litre unit. Both engines are available with a manual gearbox (which is unlikely to come here) or CVT.

It is not confirmed yet when the facelift Toyota Yaris will come to the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC regions. It has already gone on sale in the Philippines as a 2020 model year Toyota Vios.

Keep track of the latest prices and updates in the Toyota Yaris buyer guide.
