The all-new McLaren Artura marks the beginning of a new era in supercars. The McLaren Artura is a revolutionary step forward, a pure McLaren and an example of the pioneering engineering and design excellence that has defined the company since its founding more than 50 years ago. The McLaren Artura is a revolutionary new supercar that marks the beginning of a new era for the pioneering luxury supercar company. It features the McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA) at its core, making it lighter than its competitors. It is powered by a 3.0-lire twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine and a compact axial flux E-motor. The E-motor provides the car with an emissions-free range of up to 30km. The McLaren Artura also features an all-new twin-clutch transmission and an electronically controlled differential (E-diff) to improve traction and reduce levels of understeer. The Artura is designed with full Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) capability and can be charged to an 80% charge level in just 2.5 hours. It is also equipped with an impressive array of driver assistance features, such as Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Departure Warning, Auto High-Beam Assist and Road-Sign Recognition. The car is designed to excel on both the road and the track, featuring a unique rear suspension system, wider tyres and an integrated rear spoiler and diffuser for improved aerodynamic performance. Inside, the cockpit is centred around the driver, featuring a redesigned steering wheel with separate Powertrain and Handling controls, a stealth mode on the main binnacle, an all-new Clubsport seat and an all-new McLaren infotainment and connectivity system (MIS II).
