Chevrolet Captiva 2011 Overview

The Korean-built Captiva, originally GM's first proper entry into the softroader market, received a facelift in 2011, along with a change in engines and cabin design. On offer is a choice of two powertrains, namely a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder in either front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive form, and a 3.0-litre V6 with direct-injection and all-wheel-drive. All models get a new 6-speed automatic. Features include 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels, standard power windows and mirrors, seating for seven, 4-speaker or 6-speaker CD/MP3 stereo, manual a/c and keyless entry. There are four trim levels, with the top LTZ model getting optional 19-inch alloy wheels, single-zone auto a/c, auto-dimming mirror, 8-speaker stereo with AUX port and CD changer, optional fog lamps, electronic parking brake, cloth or leather upholstery, optional Bluetooth, chrome door handles, optional sunroof and optional parking sensors. Safety features include dual front airbags with optional side airbags, standard ABS, and optional traction control, stability control, hill-descent control and hydraulic brake assist.
