Pre-2006 models had problems with brakes pulsating, requiring rotor and pad replacement. If vehicle has difficulty backing up on a steep hill, reprogramme the powertrain control module (PCM). Transmission may suffer delayed engagement after sitting overnight due to split in the filter in fluid cooler return line. Problems reported with power windows, cruise control, wipers, stereo and shifter locking up. Reports of ECU problems which cause car to shut down, largely in early models.
