2017 Chevrolet Malibu

The ninth generation Chevrolet Malibu made its debut in the GCC as a 2017 model year. Under the hood is a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Later on a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine joined the lineup. That one gets an 8-speed auto transmission. Standard features on the base LS model include power steering, electric windows, central locking, halogen headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, single zone A/C, 6-speaker audio system, 7-inch touch screen with Bluetooth, phone projection and navigation, keyless entry, engine push start, fabric seats, cruise control and 16-inch steel wheels. The LT gets additional remote vehicle starter and 17-inch alloy wheels. The sunroof, 8-inch touch screen, and power seats are optional on the LT.
