2010 Hyundai Sonata

The Sonata is supposed to be the highlight of the Hyundai range, designed to go head-to-head with established world-class midsize sedans. It can do everything that the Japanese class leaders can do, but at a much lower price. However, it still isn't noticed much due to poor marketing, and the ugly new facelift doesn't help its cause. The choice of two new competitive engines include a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder and a 3.3-litre V6, both with manually-shiftable automatics, though the smaller engine can be had with a proper manual too. The cabin facelift fares much better. Standard features include power windows, power outside mirrors, manual a/c, central door lock, front fog lamps, cloth seats, 15-inch steel wheels and a radio cassette player with 4 speakers and a hidden antenna.
