Overview
In 2011, the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG got a new turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 engine. The new model features new steps in road safety with the second generation of the PRE-SAFE occupant protection system that predicts accidents and prepares the car's occupants for the crash by initiating safety measures such as pre-tensioning seatbelts, raising seat backs to the optimum position and even closing the sunroof. In addition, it also has optional Night View Assist which is an advanced after-dark vision system. Other features include enhanced COMAND system with 8-inch display and a controller on the centre console, Airmatic adaptive suspension and adaptive brake lights. It also includes a reversing camera, AMG bodykit and AMG light-alloy wheels.
