2013 Hyundai I20

The Hyundai i20 made a late debut into the GCC market. It replaces their previous subcompact, the Hyundai Getz. Three models are available in the UAE market. The basic model gets the 1.2 litre engine which is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The GL and GLS models get a 1.4-litre engine connected to a four-speed automatic. Standard features on the 1.2-litre model include power steering, tilt/telescopic steering column, CD/MP3 Kenwood stereo with 6 speakers and AUX input, manual a/c, 60:40 split-folding rear seat and manual windows. The 1.4-litre model additionally gets body-coloured door handles, painted power mirrors with indicators, power windows, central locking, rear wiper, front fog lamps, rear shelf and a better-adjustable driver's seat. All the models get ABS and only one airbag as standard. Optional features include driver's armrest, USB port, steering audio controls, alloy wheels and parking sensors.
