Overview
The Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG is the range-topping variant of the A-Class line. It received a facelift in 2016 and a power boost. If features a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine mated to a 7-speed automatic and an all-wheel-drive platform. Externally, it can be identified by its AMG-specific bumpers and wheels, although these are also available with lower-spec A-Class models with an AMG package as well. Other AMG-specific features include a conservative "twin-blade" grille, black side-sills and trim, and squared-off exhaust tips. Further features include sports seats, stiffer suspension, sports exhaust system, speed-sensitive sports steering, transmission oil cooler, bigger brakes and an AMG-tuned ESP system. Other available features include HID headlights, smart keyless entry and start, cruise control, navigation and more.
