Overview
The new-for-2013 Chevrolet Malibu is a car designed with priority to various other Asian markets, and the car coming to the Middle East is even built in Korea first now. Based on the front-wheel-drive Opel Insignia platform, the new Malibu is taller, wider, and has a shorter wheelbase than the outgoing model, with new engine choices. It is now offered with a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder and a 3.0-litre V6, mated to 6-speed automatics. Aside from common features such as power windows, cloth or leather upholstery, keyless entry and CD/MP3 stereo, available options include HID headlights and a choice of 16-inch, 17-inch or 18-inch wheels. Standard safety features include 6 airbags, ABS, available stability control with brake assist, and options such as rear-view camera with parking sensors.
